Lesson Description:

Students learn the importance of living in the UK, respecting its laws and abiding here peacefully.

Citizenship Values and Activities:

• to acknowledge that the Sharia places a sacred duty to respect the laws of a country and to abide in peace
• to support community projects, organisations and the Police Force in their work to improve community safety and in reducing crime
• to raise awareness of actions which may result in harm to family, school, community and society
• working in partnership and with other faith and cultures to improve facilities in one's local community
